I remember when I met Barb. I walked into a meeting where I didn't know anyone and she just stuck out her hand and said "hi" to me. She's the one with a developmental disability!! But she knows that saying "hi" spontaneously can make anyone feel included. I appreciated that gesture so much. I immediately felt more at ease. Thank you Barb!
