As a parent, i wanted to say how enthusiastic i am about the "startwith hi" campaign, my son Nicholas lives on his own with a live-in-support and I, naturally, tell people around him to say "HI, Nicholas" like his landlady, the building manager and I encourage his support workers to introduce him (he is non verbal) to people who come to him.
