My son Alexander is autistic. As he develops the ability to relate and empathize with others, the friendly acknowledgement from those around him has an immeasureable impact on him. He learns, perhaps more than other children, from those around him by mimicing what others do and say. We are very grateful to those who greet him with a warm hello and have taken the time to get to know him.
