http://www.startwithhi.ca This video features Cliff from Surrey BC. This campaign urges British Columbians to just say "hi" and take it from there. It's such a small thing... but it's also big. Sometimes we don't know what to say to someone with a developmental disability or we're worried about saying the wrong thing. Just acknowledging one another, despite differences of any kind, is a small way to communicate acceptance and belonging.
